Osiris, born Amon Tomaz, is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics, primarily as part of the Black Adam family. A young Egyptian refugee, Amon was enslaved and beaten before being freed and granted powers by Black Adam, who saw in him a chance for redemption. Amon gained the powers of the Egyptian god Osiris, including superhuman strength, speed, flight, and control over plants.

As Osiris, he fought alongside Black Adam and Isis, initially forming a brutal and uncompromising team. He struggled with the violence they employed, representing a more innocent and hopeful ideal than his mentors. Eventually, he attempted to use his powers for good, even trying to join the Teen Titans. His naivete and lack of control, however, often led to unintended consequences and collateral damage.

Osiris met a tragic end, killed by Sobek, a crocodile-like monster created by Doctor Sivana, during a conflict with the Titans. His death deeply affected Black Adam, fueling his already fierce rage and leading to further conflict. During the Blackest Night event, Osiris was resurrected as a Black Lantern, a zombie-like being fueled by death energy. As a Black Lantern, he was forced to fight against his former allies, representing the pain and loss they felt. He was eventually destroyed.
